Nokia 1.4 has an screen size of 6.51-inch. It’s an HD+ panel with a teardrop notch on the top for the selfie camera. The profound chin on the bottom of the screen has the company’s branding. At the back, Nokia has replaced the pill-shaped camera bump with a circular bump that we find on more expensive offerings from the company. Just below it lies the physical fingerprint mount.

In terms of performance, the phone still packs the same Snapdragon 215 chipset as its predecessor. The base variant features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Since the chipset used here is not that powerful, the Nokia 1.4 ships with Go Edition of Android 10. But you will be able to upgrade the phone to Android 11 eventually. The company is also promising three updates of security updates. The phone also has a built-in parental control feature that lets users manage downloaded contents from the Play Store.

Camera;

The 8MP primary camera on the back has remained unchanged and now it is accompanied by a 2MP macro sensor. The phone comes with the Camera Go app powered by Google. Thus, you get Google’s AI features such as portrait mode and a dedicated night mode. There is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Battery and other;

Nokia 1.4 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which should last you longer considering the entry-level chipset and the toned-down Android version. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports LTE Cat 4, WiFi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2.
